Bulwark docs

Getting started

The setup steps, in order. Each signature is shown in your wallet; none of them moves your funds.

Connect and sign in

Connect the wallet you trade with on Hyperliquid and sign the sign-in message. Signing in proves you own the address and authorises nothing.

Confirm where you are

Enter the country you live in and your citizenship. Bulwark also checks your connection's country and applies the strictest of the three. See Regions.

Fund your Hyperliquid account

Bulwark trades from your own Hyperliquid account. Deposit USDC there the usual way; nothing is held by Bulwark.

Create and approve your guard key

Bulwark creates a guard key for you in AWS KMS, where its private key cannot be exported (see Key storage). You approve it on Hyperliquid as a named agent (bulwark-guard), optionally with an expiry. Hyperliquid lets agents trade but never withdraw.

Approve a trading key (optional)

For your own orders, the app can create a separate key that stays in your browser, so you don't sign every order in your wallet. Like every Hyperliquid agent, it cannot withdraw.

Write and sign your rules

Set your buffer lines and what happens at each, or write a rule in plain words and let the AI translator turn it into an exact rule. Every number is one you type. You sign the policy in your wallet; from then on the guard runs it.
